Dustin and Collett are committed to seeing people in Pontiac come to faith in Jesus Christ. The two have been married since 2014 and reside together in Pontiac, with their son and daughter, where they have devoted themselves to the advancement of the city and life transformation. They are leading the charge of planting Pontiac Church, with a devoted team of Pontiac leaders.

Dustin grew up in Pontiac, MI, an inner-city environment, where he was exposed to the hard-hitting realities of the urban core, at an early age.  At 7-years-old, Dustin came to faith in Christ through the ministry of The Power Company Kids Club and the trajectory of his life and family changed forever.  He later served as the ministry’s Pontiac Director for 8 years.  Collett came to faith in Christ, through a life-changing experience at Bridgewood Church in her early twenties.  She went on to pursue ministry through an international discipleship training school, studying stateside and abroad.

In 2018, Dustin and Collett founded the Pontiac Community Foundation, a mission dedicated to Building a Brighter Future for Pontiac by engaging philanthropy, leadership, and collaboration to tackle Pontiac’s most pressing issues.  The organization was founded to be a conduit for resources into the City of Pontiac, a model for organizational leadership, and a resource for Pontiac nonprofits and small businesses.

Dustin previously served as Campus Pastor at Bridgewood Church in Clarkston, MI; and Community Development Pastor at Woodside Bible Church in Troy, MI.  He also serves as an officer on the Board of Directors for Dream Centers of Michigan, Leadership Oakland, Key of Hope, in Durban, South Africa - and has most recently served as Chair of newly elected Pontiac Mayor Tim Greimel’s transition team.
